A passion for Wine, Music, Friends and Family

David is passionate about wine, music, art, his wife Ruth, his family and his friends at the winery. That is something that is evident as soon as you step though the door at Iron Vines Winery. 

 

David's interest in wine-making blossomed in the 70's and he began experimenting with juices from around the world. His effort to make quality wines that had more character then the ones locally available has succeeded and become quite refined.

 

In May of 2018, Dave purchased the former Sunlight Feed Mill in Sunbury and transformed the space into his vision of a winery. This eclectic space offers a collection of art worthy of

a museum, a wine bar with live music Friday, Saturday, and sometimes Sunday, a pool table, bar games, a summertime patio. Our "Upstairs", which is available for parties, has a second bar, a lounge area with cozy couches where you can watch the music from the balcony and of course more of Dave's collection of art. 

 

Stop by and say, "Hi." You'll often find Dave and Ruth watching the show and grabbing a bite to eat. Or just Dave hanging out and shooting pool. He never misses a chance to give a tour, so just go ahead and ask.
